Leading Business Process Management Suite Uniquely Integrates Process and Enterprise Data Management
Reston, Va.— September 10, 2013 —Appian, the market leader in modern business process management (BPM) software, today announced that the Appian BPM Suite has been named a 2013 “Trend-Setting Product” by KMWorld Magazine. This is Appian’s seventh time being acknowledged for the award, which is publicized in the September issue of the publication.
KMWorld‘s Trend-Setting Products award, now in its 11th year, is an annual listing of enterprise technology products that clearly demonstrate identifiable technology breakthroughs and deliver exceptional value. This year, more than 700 products were assessed by KMWorld‘s judging panel, which consists of editorial colleagues, analysts, system integrators, line-of-business managers and technology end-users.
“Appian was selected by the panel because they demonstrate thoughtful, well-reasoned innovation and execution for the most important constituency of them all: the customer,” said Hugh McKellar, Editor in Chief of KMWorld Magazine.
Appian was specifically recognized for Appian Records, which allow users to navigate, analyze, collaborate, and take action on enterprise data and systems from a single intuitive interface on the desktop and popular mobile devices. By making data a “first-class citizen” in BPM, Appian allows users to make better, faster business decisions, complete tasks, and advance processes and cases to increase efficiency and response time.
“Appian continuously looks for ways to bring added value to organizations with process improvement initiatives, and Appian Records reflects this focus on innovation,” said Matthew Calkins, president and CEO of Appian. “We are honored by KMWorld‘s recognition that Appian continues to set the industry standard for the value that BPM can deliver.”
Appian provides a low-code development platform that accelerates the creation of high-impact business applications. Many of the world’s largest organizations use Appian applications to improve customer experience, achieve operational excellence, and simplify global risk management and compliance.
