Appian and IBM Host Webinar on Leveraging BPM for Improving Public Sector Supplier Performance

BPM Delivers Increased Visibility Into Supplier Compliance by Monitoring Money, Time and Compliance

Vienna, VA., May 16, 2007 Appian Corporation, the leading supplier of Business Process Management Suites (BPMS), and IBM will present a live one-hour webinar titled “Improve Supplier Oversight with BPM” on May 22, at 2:00 p.m. ET. The webinar will provide attendees with insights and techniques for leveraging BPM technology to increase their visibility into the efficiency of their supplier relationships. Government organizations are under constant demand to better manage and improve supplier performance. As every supplier is given specific contract guidelines to follow, organizations have traditionally been limited in their ability to monitor where money is being spent, the way contracts are being serviced or the timeliness of delivery.

Associate Partner of IBM’s Global Business Services, Keith Strange, and Appian’s Senior Solutions Consultant, Puneet Sethi, will discuss different ways these organizations can gain real-time visibility into and better manage supplier relationships. Strange and Sethi will provide attendees with strategies for implementing and managing a business process management (BPM) solution to facilitate supplier interactions and improve spend visibility, supplier performance monitoring, and contract compliance.
