Appian’s Annelise Dubrovsky Named Finalist in 17th Annual Women in Technology (WIT) Leadership Awards

Co-founder of Appian’s Women’s Leadership Program (WLP) Recognized in “Technical Leadership” Category
RESTON, Va.—March 16, 2016— Appian, the leading BPM and Case Management platform provider, is proud to announce that Appian Senior Manager of Product Management Annelise Dubrovsky is a Finalist in the 17th Annual Women in Technology (WIT) Leadership Awards in the “Technical Leadership” category. The awards program honors women succeeding in their careers while also mentoring the next generation of leaders, and awards Finalists are pioneers in their organizations and in the local technology community. Winners will be announced at the Leadership Awards Gala on May 19, 2016 at the Hyatt Regency in Reston, Virginia.
WIT is a non-profit organization with the mission of providing leadership development, networking programs, and resources to advance women in technology from the classroom to the boardroom. The “Technical Leadership” category honors women providing great leadership and exemplary technical abilities in a technology leadership role. At Appian, Ms. Dubrovsky leads a team whose role is to understand customer business needs, translate those needs into implementable requirements, and work with software developers to build the best Business Process Management platform in the market. She led the team that envisioned and implemented Appian’s patent-pending Self Assembling Interface Layer (SAIL) technology. SAIL is a truly unique and innovation technology, allowing Appian customers to build and deploy end-user interfaces across various browsers and native mobile platforms without per-platform customizations and coding – saving Appian customers significant development time and maintenance resources. In 2013, Ms. Dubrovsky was invited to give a presentation on SAIL and User Interface Innovation to the Society of Women Engineers (SWE).
