SSH Corporation Ltd (SSH) is currently an associate of Aqua-Terra Supply Co. Ltd. and part of the group of companies under the umbrella of KS Energy Services Limited. SSH specializes in supplying high grade industrial materials and products such as Carbon and Stainless Steel Pipes and Fittings, Structural Steel Plates, and Valves. It also supplies Welding Equipment and Consumables, namely the Lincoln Welding Equipment and Consumables and other ancillary welding products. Headquartered in Singapore, SSH’s geographical presence covers China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam.
Business Problem
SSH services the oil and gas, petrochemical, marine sectors and related construction and heavy engineering industries. With quality and efficiency being two of the key determinants of competitive advantage in the industrial materials industry, SSH sought a BPM platform to help improve control over key business areas. The company required a user-friendly platform suited to helping enhance service excellence delivery to internal and external customers.
Appian Solution
Initially, SSH has deployed Appian to streamline IT Helpdesk support processes to users across various groups. This covers service requests, user account creation and incident reporting processes within the company’s IT department. The solution was deployed by Appian’s local partner in the region, Automatic Identification Technology Pte Ltd (AIT).
