Want to help change the way the world works?

September is a month of change and growth. The leaves start to turn, the days get shorter, football starts up, and thousands of college seniors start to think about what they're going to do after graduation. If you're a talented computer science student, the possibilities seem endless. The career fairs are packed with major employers like Google and IBM, offering the chance to be part of large teams working on sophisticated technology.

But for all the upsides of large, well-known companies, there are also some downsides. It's all too easy to get lost in the shuffle, and become just another cog in the machine. How can you change the world and make an immediate impact? That's where Appian enters the picture.

Appian is growing quickly, and we're looking for people who are as passionate about improving the world through great software as we are. We're a small company with some pretty big customers - some of the most recognized brands include Amazon, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Major League Baseball, Starbucks, Liberty Mutual... even the US Army! Our customers appreciate our small, agile teams, our continuous release cycle, and our innovative worksocial software. However, we know that our most valuable competitive advantage is every single employee. Where else can you have the opportunity to have your voice heard? Perhaps during board game night with our CEO, or chatting with coworkers during one of our weekly happy hours, you'll come up with the next great idea. The numbers don't lie; check out our new Appian at a Glance page for more information on what we're all about.

If all of this piques your interest, come to a job fair at your school and meet us in person. We're looking for software engineers, consultants, and interns who are interested in changing the way the world works. At our booths you can pick up some swag (we're especially proud of our personalized Rubiks cubes and glass tumblers!), see our software in action, and talk to people who are equally as passionate about technology. Visit our University Recruiting page to see if we'll be at your school, and to see more information about our job openings. Are you ready to bring work and social together?
