Accelerate Beyond IT Modernization at Appian World 2018

The Federal Government Executive branch fiscal 2019 budget request proposes increased spending for IT, with a focus on modernization efforts. However, even with the emphasis on modernization and digital transformation, legacy IT will again dominate the bulk of the year's technology spend, accounting for 80 percent of the requested funding.

Get a New Perspective

Public sector agencies, who have missed multiple generations of advancement in technology due to the continued maintenance of their legacy IT systems, no longer have to settle for the status quo. Organizations are already leveraging new digital technologies to innovate how they engage their constituents, optimize their internal operations, and achieve mission success. And while the process to modernize doesn't happen overnight, Appian has been working with agencies to revolutionize how they view, and successfully execute, their digital transformation efforts.

To further advance your IT modernization strategy efforts, join digital transformation leaders from the public and private sectors at Appian World 2018 as they showcase how the Appian platform has transformed the way their organizations conduct business.

Focus on High-Impact Change

Appian's signature event is designed to make you an agent of rapid, high-impact transformation within your organization. Attendees have the opportunity to receive hands-on product training from our experts, engage in best practices discussions with their industry peers, and get an exclusive first look at new enhancements and upcoming capabilities from Appian's product team.

In addition to engaging with the Appian team, hear from Appian's partners on how they're helping organizations better use technology to deploy measured, high-impact improvements in citizen services and workflow efficiencies while reducing their costs.

There will also be use case presentations by government organizations including the Federal Transit Authority. Learn how these agencies are responding to their current mission demands to deliver services efficiently, and ensure that employees have the tools they need to be productive and make the right decisions faster.

Check Out the Appian Hackathon

Beyond special events and keynoters including Steve Wozniak, the Appian World agenda is packed with amazing customer presentations from numerous global organizations that will share lessons-learned as they navigated their digital customer journey.

And as if that wasn't enough, this year we have added Appian's first-ever online hackathon, where participants compete to build the most innovative application on the latest version of the Appian Low-Code Platform. But unlike traditional weekend hackathons, this will be an online event. Innovators and developers will team up to compete over several weeks to build the most epic app.
