Appian Continues UK Expansion with New Offices and New Leader

Appian 107 Cheapside London UKOn the heels of a successful Appian World conference, the market leader in modern business process management (BPM) and case management software moves into new offices in the City of London. As a major global financial hub, the London Stock Exchange and headquarters of many financial services, insurance, and professional services are based in the City. Appian's new London office space is in 107 Cheapside, a flagship business center in the heart of the City near the Bank and St. Paul's underground stations.

In addition, Vikki Hailey has been appointed as the Regional Vice President for the UK, Ireland and Channel Islands to lead the business and expand Appian's BPM operations in the region. Hailey is a seasoned IT executive with nearly 25 years of experience in the software industry, where sheheld senior management roles and scaled thebusiness. During her seven years of tenure at Appian, Hailey has managed and driven successful enterprise software organisations to deliver significant process solutions and revenue growth.

Since its establishment in 2006, Appian's London office has been increasing the number of customers and employees every year. Today, Appian has UK customers across industries, including one of the top ten insurance companies in the world, two leading global professional services and consulting firms, and one of the UK's largest retail stores. Appian's strong growth in the UK, combined with other international sales, resulted in 30 percent of the company's total revenue last year while continued increase is expected in 2014.

One of Appian's UK customers, Punch Taverns, presented at Appian World to share how the company uses Appian across the organization for Property Investment Processes, Commercial Leading, New Lease On-Boarding, and management of Short-Term Agreements for its portfolio of more than 4,000 pubs. By leveraging Appian's BPM, mobile, social, and records capabilities in the cloud, Punch Taverns can "focus on business innovation, not IT development and support."
