Jason William Glavich

MCRISS Program Manager, USMC

Mr. Glavich has been working in DoD Acquisitions for 13 years, starting his career on the Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle Program for the USMC while on active duty. While on the EFV program, he filled many roles from Developmental Tester to Communications Engineer for the Command Variant of the EFV. Once completing his USMC service he served as a Senior Test Engineer for Marine Corps Systems Command, supporting over 100 programs. In this capacity, he led teams to develop Integrated Test and Evaluation policy and testing methods, including automating test readiness reviews utilizing existing software systems.

Currently, he serves as the Project Manager for the Marine Corps Recruiting Information Support System (MCRISS). MCRISS is the single tool the USMC Recruiters utilize to recruit the next generation of Marines. He also leads the development of the MCRISS II system, which is being built on the Appian platform to provide the recruiters with a new and much improved toolset. The MCRISS II program is also a NDAA 874 Agile Pilot Program of the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD). This program is among to the first to fully adopt an agile software development method in the government.

Mr. Glavich has a Master’s Degree in Program Management from Excelsior College and a Project Management Professional Certification from The Project Management Institute.
