Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) is the world’s 4th busiest airport in terms of traffic with a total facility covering 27 square miles, making it larger than New York’s Manhattan Island.
Given its size, DFW needed a more efficient way to manage its back office operations. DFW mainly used paper-based processes, requiring the physical transportation of forms and files across the facility.
During its first six months of use, DFW deployed 18 process applications across the entire airport on the Appian Cloud Platform. Appian gives DFW greater agility in its operations, connecting 2,000 employees with data, processes, and social collaboration throughout the organization.
