The Project Management application allows managers to either manually enter the task information for any type of project or import their existing data from Microsoft Project into Appian Anywhere, where they will be able to use our web-based, easy to use BPM platform to assign, complete, track and report on all the tasks in the project.

The application also provides project managers with a simple interface to create and keep track of the different resources in the system, either users or groups who will be working on a project.

This application provides great visibility on key performance metrics in real-time through different dashboard pages where reports and charts will provide immediate feedback on the status of your project, or even on the status of a particular task. It also provides visibility on the overall workload for the different resources in the application giving them an opportunity to assign or reassign tasks in order to distribute the work load effectively.

Similar to Microsoft Project, this application uses Gantt charts to represent the time line for each task in the project both based on the initial project estimates as well as on the actual data, enabling managers to identify any discrepancies and take action to get the project back on track.

Members of the staff will have a centralized location for them to keep track and review the details of the tasks assigned to them as well as to enter their comments and complete the tasks. The application provides them with a simple interface where they can sort their tasks based on the deadline, based on the project, or even search for a specific task.

The Project Management application will contribute to increased efficiency for any type of project and will provide great visibility in real time about the project and task status, giving project managers an opportunity to take action on a timely fashion throughout the project life cycle.
