Business Process Design Made Viable

Business processes can be defined as the collection of interrelated tasks and events that lead to delivering a product or service to a customer or client. Business process design, therefore, has to do with determining which activities are required in order to achieve the same result, and with determining when and how to perform some of these tasks for the best results.

It may sound simple but business processes are not limited to the core processes directly related to the manufacture of a product or delivery of a service. In management speak, there are actually three kinds of business processes, operational processes, management processes, and supporting processes, which include such activities as accounting, tech support etc.

Given all of these factors business process design can be a daunting task. Companies can subscribe to business process management software for assistance in streamlining process design. This software can help businesses see inefficiencies within the business process and make the necessary adjustments.
