Business Problem
KONE wanted to increase the effectiveness of its project management teams to ensure quality and on-time completion of its customer installations. KONE needed a central way to track milestones, manage delivery plans and approve changes, as well as an efficient solution for managing data entry and retrieval across its 4 separate SAP deployments. KONE’s vision was to provide a rapid, flexible solution to meet the growing needs of the company.
Appian BPM Solution
KONE deployed Appian for a Proof of Concept providing a “cockpit view” of their major projects. Appian’s BPM solution eliminated 50% of process tasks, improved workload visibility and management, improved turnaround times, standardized processes across front and back office operations and unified all data control. Subsequently, KONE has expanded the rollout of its Appian applications. Appian’s BPM solutions enable KONE to continually adapt and meet the changing needs of future projects.
