Gartner Magic Quadrant-What does it mean for Federal Government?
When I joined Appian this past spring, part of my decision in joining was based on my experience running two successful Business Process Management (BPM) practices at federal systems integrators. My teams had experience using and deploying almost a dozen different products over the past decade. I know from experience that Appian can deliver the unique and specific features our federal customers need, when they need it.
Now, those things that make Appian a leader in the public sector space, are being recognized by Gartner as well, as Appian was recently positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the Leaders quadrant in the new 2016 “Magic Quadrant for Intelligent Business Process Management Suites.″
So What Is the Magic Quadrant?
The Magic Quadrant is an analysis of certain tech products, in this case Business Process Management software, and an exciting compliment for us inside the tech industry. However, for those of you who want to use Appian, and aren’t caught up in the name game, what does that mean for you?
Well, for one thing, Gartner highlights Appian’s customer satisfaction rate, noting how Appian customers are more satisfied than those using our competition for BPM.
Gartner also notes Appian’s strong Records capabilities, saying, “Appian Records provides an intuitive ad hoc data integration capability. Records is accessible from the social interface, acting as a context broker and enabling situationally adaptive behavior.”
Gartner also notes Appian’s quick time to deliver value to our customers, something especially important in the federal space where value must be shown quickly. Additionally, our customer and partners are able to deliver these solutions at a lower total cost than our competitors.
