Appian to Sponsor CIOsynergy Atlanta

Businesses within the city of Atlanta are prime candidates for modernizing enterprise business solutions with enhanced workplace technologies. With strong industries such as financial services, higher education and government stimulating growth, Atlanta’s economy currently ranks 15th among world cities and sixth in the United States.

Appian is proud to continue its CIOsynergy sponsorship at CIOsynergy Atlanta beginning tomorrow, where over 100 IT leaders from the fortune and mid-market enterprise community will gather for an afternoon of enterprise IT knowledge sharing and discussion. This event promises to offer unparalleled networking in an ultimate learning environment with the CIOs of Atlanta’s enterprise arena.

CIOsynergy, a gathering of carefully selected IT leaders, represents a who’s who of enterprise IT aimed at identifying the issues CIOs are faced with each day. Guests of this symposium will explore the successes, failures, and battles of these officers on the frontlines of innovation, led by CIOs who will discuss how the convergence of mobile, social, cloud and big data technologies can create new business opportunities as well as more modern ways to work. This CIO roadmap and networking opportunity will take place in downtown Atlanta at the JW Marriott Atlanta Buckhead.

The keynote speaker for CIOsynergy will be Robert Herjavec, star of the hit reality TV show Shark Tank. Aside from his role on Shark Tank, where business pitches from aspiring entrepreneurs are received by a panel of potential investors, Robert Herjavec is one of North America’s most recognizable business leaders and successful entrepreneurs. Along with founding the Herjavec Group (THG), Herjavec has built and sold businesses on his way to amassing a personal fortune of over $150 Million, and has started a number of technology companies that have been successfully acquired by AT&T and Nokia.

Herjavec is also slated to be the headline keynote speaker at Appian World 2014 in Washington, DC later this spring.

Attendees of CIOsynergy will also experience a panel discussion from CIOs of multiple industries moderated by Scott Shuster, acclaimed former ABC foreign news correspondent and editor of NPR. This open forum will discuss how IT transformation, consumption and management will drive change and innovation over the next 5 years.
