Announcing Appian’s Latest Product Release

Appian is proud to announce the immediate availability of the latest version of Appian 7. This Fall 2013 release of Appian continues to extend Appian’s commitment to delivering   the leading work platform, integrating enterprise data discovery, social collaboration, business process management, and native mobility.

This release of Appian 7 builds upon key features, including:

Records – Appian Records discovers and combines enterprise data into a single intuitive  interface for users to rapidly find and take action upon.  Appian Records now has expanded search capabilities to automatically index key fields across all enterprise data sources.  In addition, multiple views may now be created to give unique perspectives on each record item.

Appian SAIL – Appian’s innovative new User Interface architecture, Appian SAIL (Self Assembling Interface Layer), has been extended with support for rules driven user interactivity for creating intelligent and completely dynamic new user experiences for both web and mobile users.

Social Collaboration – New search and discovery features make finding specific users and content fast and easy.  In addition, event posts may now be tagged with important files and records for quick access to meaningful content.

Reporting  –   New chart types with increased drill behavior allowing users to create rich  and interactive reporting dashboards for both web and mobile users.

Rules Management – Appian Rules now include real-time and inline impact analysis.  Designers can now see all impacted and dependent rules while they edit
