5 Conferences Rolled into 1 to Showcase the Mobile Revolution at Government IT Forum
The mobile revolution is moving so fast, and for the government it can be nearly impossible to set constraining policies to abide with increased technology advancements. A mobile workforce needs flexibility despite necessary regulatory restraints. As a result, agencies must become more agile as BYOD has become a part of the work environment, and a mobile strategy is essential for improving the performance and efficiencies of the government’s workforce.
Government IT Forum will present agencies with current policy approaches in light of today’s fast-moving workforce and policy needs. This year, the forum will be co-located with the 2013 Big Data & Business Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Cloud & Virtualization, and Records & Information Management events, all geared towards having attendees obtain the latest insights into current mobile IT programs implemented by federal agencies. Government IT Forum will help federal IT professionals understand the implications of current policy and technology tools available to drive strategy and meet goals for organizational initiatives.
Appian subject knowledge will be well represented at the conference, kicking off next Monday (December 2-3) at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in our Nation’s Capital, as leaders from Appian’s Federal Sales team will be participating in a series of presentations and panel discussions. Chris O’Connell, Vice President of Federal Sales, will share his overall thoughts on mobile improvements during a Mobile Government Spotlight Session: “Making Innovation Rapid and Cost-Effective.” Chris will also be participating in a roundtable discussion earlier in the day entitled “Cloud First – How Using the Cloud can be Secure, Cost Saving, and Allow for Rapid Application Deployment,” and Appian Federal Sales Account Executive, Christina Fisher, will be on-hand for the “Mobility in Government – How to Support Both Future First and BYOD Initiatives” roundtable chat.
All event presentation and panel discussions will provide valuable commentary on current policy and technology trends to help navigate the risks of unstable budgets, rapid technology changes, and growing cyber threats, as well as what to expect from government IT in 2014. Attendees will have extensive opportunities to see products, solutions, and services needed to address industry challenges in the forum exhibit hall of leading industry vendors and integrators.
And keeping with the theme of Government IT, Appian has launched a 24/7 online exhibit sponsored by FedCity™, which allows you to walk the virtual floor of Appian’s BPM for Government capabilities by visiting our online booth for the latest collateral and video materials. FedCity™ is a complete virtual environment showcasing products and solutions from leading IT and cyber innovation companies, designed to help federal agencies achieve mission-critical goals. This portal is available for 24 hour-access, and we invite you to take a look!
