Amazon Web Services and Appian Present Free Federal Cloud “How-To” Lunch and Learn
On August 11, Amazon Web Services and Appian are hosting a free lunch presentation and discussion on “Cloud for Government.” It starts at 11:00am, and the location is Kora Restaurant (2250 Crystal Drive in Arlington, Va.). If you are a federal decision maker or influencer with responsibility for cloud or process initiatives (and if you will be in the DC area on Thursday) you shouldn’t miss this. Seating is limited, so click here to request your seat.
The first speaker is Ms. Teresa Carlson, VP Global Public Sector at Amazon Web Services. Teresa spoke at our last Appian World conference. She’s terrific at demystifying AWS and the Amazon EC2, and she’ll discuss how agencies are reaping the financial and operational benefits of placing mission-critical processes in the cloud.
Our CTO, Mike Beckley, will also speak about how several agencies are getting their cloud initiatives off the ground (sorry, bad pun), and the value Appian federal customers see in Cloud BPM.
Come have some good food, do some networking and:
- Hear how your federal colleagues are managing their move to the cloud and how they have handled the challenges they’ve encountered
- Learn first-hand best practices and benefits of running applications like acquisition, personnel administration, security clearance processing and case management in the cloud
- Gather the business critical information needed to evaluate and make informed decisions before moving your applications to the cloud
- Ensure you have the building blocks in place for a successful application deployment
Don’t worry – lunch is valued at $20, and government employees can opt to pay for their own meals if desired (receipts can be provided).
