Join Appian for a Night at the Museum
Appian events have always been a unique experience, designed to engage attendees in networking and inspire to take positive action for the future. Selecting the ideal location to deliver on these goals is always both a challenge and a pleasure.
For our recent Appian Around the World events, we selected unique venues in the city center of each respective location. The spaces needed to be open, encouraging conversation and networking, while also stimulating, allowing each attendee to enjoy a moment of inspiration from the view or ambiance.
It is this criteria that always makes Washington D.C. and the museums of the world-class Smithsonian Institution an ideal spot for Appian World, our annual global user and partner conference. The Smithsonian is the world’s largest research and museum complex, with 19 museums and galleries. Within the Smithsonian’s vast complex and among the 137 million+ items in its collections, you’ll find everything from Dorothy’s Ruby Slippers from the Wizard of Oz and original artwork from Claude Monet and Vincent Van Gogh, to the Space Shuttle Discovery and the Hope Diamond (a 45.52 carat deep-blue diamond once belonging to King Louis XIV, Marie Antoinette, and King George IV).
At Appian World 2014, we hosted a fantastic customer appreciation event at the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum. It delivered on every aspect of our expectations, and based on the feedback we received, it was a resounding success.
For Appian World 2015, I am pleased to announce that the customer appreciation event will take place at the Smithsonian National Museum of American History on Tuesday, April 28th from 6:30 – 10:00 PM. Along with the aforementioned Ruby Slippers, attendees will enjoy a relaxing evening of networking and exploring a broad set of American history artifacts.
The customer appreciation event is part of the larger Appian World 2015, taking place Monday, April 27th through Wednesday, April 29th. Registration is currently open and early bird rates are available for just a few more weeks. We look forward to seeing everyone again for another inspiring night at the museum.
