BPM Leader Offers New Quick-Start Transition Program

Reston, Va.— March 5, 2014 — Appian, the market leader in modern business process management (BPM) software and Case Management software, today announced an innovative solution to transition organizations displaced by OpenText’s deprecation of the Metastorm and Global360 products to Appian’s modern, PaaS-enabled, Work Platform seamlessly and rapidly. OpenText’s decision to focus on a recently-acquired platform as its BPM standard potentially leaves current Metastorm and Global360 users without a viable path forward. Appian will provide the Quick-Start Transition program to help those organizations today and in the future reap the benefits of the industry-leading Appian BPM Suite, on-premise or in the cloud at the organization’s discretion, including full data management, native mobility and social collaboration at no additional cost.

The Quick-Start Transition program includes a low-risk, one-year term license (on-premise or in the cloud, with full portability between environments), plus a 6-week, fixed-cost engagement to migrate the first application. Appian anticipates that it will be able to migrate Metastorm or Global360 applications in a medium-sized organization in under 9 months, for a fraction of the cost it would take to convert to other technology.
