Appian Showcases Industry Leading Business Process Management Suite and Composite Process Solutions at DCI’s BPM Conference

Company to Preview its Next Generation BPM Suite, Appian Enterprise 5

Vienna, VA., November 8, 2005 Appian Corporation, the first Business Process Management (BPM) company to deliver advanced process, knowledge, and analytics capabilities in a fully integrated suite, today announced that it will preview Appian Enterprise 5, the next generation release of the company’s leading BPM Suite, at DCI’s BPM Conference, November 8-10 in San Diego. Appian will also be represented in several venues throughout the conference discussing how customers are leveraging BPM Suites and process-driven solutions to adapt their business in real-time and drive improvements in their overall business performance – from increasing employee productivity, to decreasing costs and cycle times, to building reusable composite process applications and solutions. Appian’s CEO, Matthew Calkins, will deliver the breakfast keynote address entitled “BPM Tomorrow” on Wednesday, November 9. Mr. Calkins’ keynote will outline how organizations are leveraging emerging BPM suite technology and applying advanced analytics to develop the next generation of collaborative, process-centric, context-driven enterprise applications.

On Tuesday, November 8, Michael Beckley, Vice President of Product Strategy and Co-Founder of Appian, will participate in a roundtable discussion on the current state of BPM, focusing on how customers can drive ROI by deploying collaborative, comprehensive BPM Suites.

Phil Larson, Appian’s Director of Product Strategy, will host a BPM Theatre presentation on November 9 entitled “Comprehensive BPM: Driving Higher ROI by Fine Tuning Enterprise Processes.” The presentation will showcase how organizations are combining advanced analytics functionality with the powerful features of BPM suites to achieve real-time business process improvements.
