The company was ranked seventh in its category of Greater Washington, DC area companies. Appian was recognized for exceptional employment practices, including the quality of leadership, pay and benefit practices, and work-life balance issues. The survey was conducted by a third party source based on independently-solicited employee feedback.
The Top Workplaces are determined based solely on employee feedback. The employee survey is conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLC, a leading research firm on organizational health and employee engagement. Over the past year, more than 6,000 organizations and 1 in every 88 employees in the U.S. have turned to WorkplaceDynamics to better understand what’s on the minds of their employees.
Appian was previously recognized as a 2014 “Top Workplace” by The Washington Post, and received a special award for Company Strategy and Mission.
