Appian Customer Office of the Insurance Commissioner to Discuss BPM Journey at Gartner BPM Summit Sydney

Gavin Charlton, Manager, Systems and Business Intelligence at Office of the Insurance Commissioner, will present a case study presentation as part of Appian’s Service Provider Session. The presentation, “How to Get Started with Mobile and Social Process Innovation,” will outline the OIC’s journey to re-build a major Insurance system on a BPM platform. Mr. Charlton will cover his organization’s initial business need identification through technology selection and implementation of their first BPM application. This presentation takes place Tuesday, 21 August from 12:00-12:30 in Grand Ballroom II.
In addition, Appian’s Vice President of Product Marketing, Malcolm Ross, will lead a Technology Lab session on “Fundamentals of Modern BPM: Creating Intelligent Processes for Today’s Mobile and Social Workforce.” Attendees of this session will learn how easy it is to build a modern BPM solution that delivers real-time process intelligence, mobile enablement, and integrated social capabilities for today’s workforce. Mr. Ross will give a live demonstration of Appian BPM technology in action, rapidly building a complete process solution in front of the audience. The session and live demonstration will provide a set of best practices for achieving a high-value BPM deployment.
