Appian Bolsters European Presence with Netherlands Expansion
Focus on Success of Customers in Benelux Region

The company today announced the appointment of Martijn Schilperoort as Managing Director to lead Appian in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxemburg. Martijn, who will be based in Amsterdam, has been successful in enabling businesses to accelerate sales, service customers, reduce operating costs and reduce risk by leveraging technology investments. In joining Appian, Martijn will harness Appian’s new generation of BPM suite capabilities, built around Mobile, Social, Cloud and Records that is used by 3.5 million users, in the largest organizations around the world to help customers in the region achieve their strategic objectives faster and more economically than ever imagined.
Led by Appian Europe, Appian’s overall international business has seen tremendous growth in recent years. Appian’s total European revenue for Q3 2014 grew by 61 percent over Q3 2013 revenue. Appian’s international performance is driving its expansion across Europe and elsewhere around the world. Appian now has regional HQ and direct offices across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific.
